Media Coverage Live from the Santa Barbara Zoo!

I took Sunny to the Santa Barbara Zoo yesterday for my day off. It was the first day of the new Condor exhibit. We walked up and enthused about the big birds and before you know it there was a person with a microphone in Sunny's face!

Sunny immediately took the microphone and started talking like she gets interviewed by NPR all the time.

So she got interviewed on NPR about the condors. They led the story with her name: http://www.kclu.org/news/local/story.php?story_id=428

No kidding.

She said the condors look like turkeys with no "little bobby thing" under their necks.

She comes back in at about 5 minutes and 30 seconds and gets sidetracked by the ultra-cute fox.

Mama loves surfing.This was a great time at the beach. Mama had fun surfing with her friend who has a boy named [removed by Mama until his peeps say it's ok]. Mama looked like a dog surfing on a board and the dog was standing up. [laughing]. And it was so fun. I better get to my show, bye bye.

Monday Surf?

Yes my blog friends. I surfed Saturday, Sunday and today. This is a whole new kind of fun.

I'm wearing a bikini and I'm salty and a little sunburned. Life. Life. Life. It's all over me.

Surfin' Birds

Our fam plus surfed Saturday and Sunday! Really. I got stoooooooooked! I've been watching surf movies like an obsessed non-surfing geek. Yesterday morning I knew that if I didn't do something drastic I was going to do something drastic. So I told Pat I wanted to get in the water!

We got Sunny a wetsuit and went out in Pismo. Then we had dinner with some new (get me!) friends. Here is how Sunny dressed to hang out with her new "bestest" friend Joshua. Dan said she's bound for the debate team. Eeeeee! I love it!
