You wouldn't know this from my blog because I haven't had a day off since starting but I am suppose to have every Wednesday off to spend with Sunny, do laundry, and go to counseling (muy importante) and basically not wash dogs. That way when Thursday comes I am raring to go again. I works. When I work five days straight my body rebels and says "you may not have fun on Saturday! You must pretend to have fun during your back spasms and carpal tunnel. No fun for you!"
So today is Wednesday and I am not working. Moment of celebration here...
Sunny decided that she wanted a haircut but we had to wait for an appointment at eleven. What better to do but EAT! We went to my Dad's favorite restaurant (without him--but he won't know because he "doesn't read blogs") which is a Cajun place in San Luis Obispo called Bon Temps (Good Times). Sunny likes it because of the Mardi Gras feeling and music. And this voluptuous pig.
And because the food is dreamy.
And the bathroom is fun fun fun. Well, it has Marilyn Monroe pics so that's something.
We still had time to kill so we picked up the Bappa and went to Starbutts. She was playing opposite day and yelling that she didn't love us. Then laughing and saying, "It's optistit day!!"
Then it was time for the haircut. It's a very cool place with slides, trains and a tree house. That's before the cut. She got to watch a Disney movie and ride a 4-wheeler during the cut. Morgan did a great great job on her hair.
Then she went down the slide and did this...
The she spaaaaaaced oooouuuutt...
The wind is blowing very hard and my Mona is terrified. I don't want to have to give her a downer pill from the vet but it might come to that if the wind doesn't break soon. Poor puppy.
Y'all make sure you check out the videos I added to the sidebar. Not to brag, but Pat does good video work. Edit is his middle name. What was his Mom thinking?
Just kidding. Duckfoot is really his middle name.
Just kidding. It's really Turkey Sandwich.
Nah. It's Popsicle.
